Star Bookstore
When you’re away from home, the latest issue of your favorite comic may be something that you miss most.

The concept of comics café was introduced from Taiwan to Hong Kong only a few years ago. Due to the high publishing frequency and small living environment, most of Hong Kong’s comic fans do not have the spaces to store their comics. Therefore, comics café has become a must stop spot for them.

Among hundreds of comic cafés, the Taiwanese comics café chain Star Bookstore stands out from the rest. The world’s largest digital management comic and book rental chain offers a vast collection of comics, books and magazines, such as Taiwanese and Japanese comics, Japanese fashion magazines and novels. Some of the items are also exclusive to Star Bookstore.

You can choose either to read your favourite comic inside the store at a rate of only HK$15 per hour, or enjoy the books at your luxury hotel room with rentals as low as HK$4 per book for 3 days and 2 nights. Each seat is divided by partitions for optimal privacy. In addition, broadband internet connection and unlimited free drinks are also available.

Pacific Ocean Sports Centre
As an international financial centre, Hong Kong is well known for its busy streets and skyscrapers. Apart from this, not many visitors know that Hong Kong also has a beautiful underwater world around Sai Kung, where you can find shady woodlands, golden sandy beaches and even some beautiful coral reefs.

Want to explore this surprising part of Hong Kong but don’t have a clue on how and where to dive? Join the beginner course organized by Pacific Ocean Sports Centre – a partner of the international diving society, Professional Association of Diving Instructor (PADI). The 2-day course aims at allowing you to pick up the basic skills in the quickest way. It includes a 3 hour theory lesson conducted in the Centre and a day trip of practical training. After finishing the course with a pass, you will obtain a PADI certificate. Qualified divers can choose to rent diving equipment or simply join their local diving trips to discover the beautiful, natural side of Hong Kong.
